Frequently Asked questions
- What is FLOW?
- How do Aquatic Flow and Integral Flow combine during a session?
- What is the programme of the workshops (one-day introduction and five-day retreat)?
This is why we start each programme with this self-inquiry: “What is the most important and enlivening soul purpose in this period of my life?” With this question we seek to discover our growing edge in the present moment. If we stay below this growing edge, there is no driving force that moves us forward. But if we overdo the self-investigation we risk straining our healthy boundaries, which will make us contract inwards. We seek to walk the fine line of the optimal growing edge that fosters the natural unfolding of the potential that resides in our being.
From a whole repertoire of techniques and teachings that are available, we will apply those that appear most suitable to accommodate the need and the growing edge in the present moment for each person individually and for the group as a whole.
Here is what a typical day looks like:
10.00 - 12.00: land session in the "yurt"
12.00 - 13.30: lunch at the "chalet" (shared or on your own, kitchen available)
13.30 - 16.30: water session at the "pool"
16.30 - 17.00: shower and back to the yurt
17.00 - 17.30: tea break at the "chalet"
17.30 - 19.00/19.30: integration
- What does a typical day look like?
The afternoon session is followed by dinner and then free time. One can choose to spend time alone or with some other participants. There is also space for group initiatives to emerge spontaneously (movie night, dance, creative arts, go to bed early, game, talking circle…) Equally, Arjana & Jan might propose an evening event, if the creative pulse of the present moment whispers to them to do so. This evening event is not a scheduled commitment.
- How many participants will there be? How big will be the group?
- Will there be time to share personal experiences/impressions/feelings…?
- Which support would I receive from the team?
The team will stimulate the transformational process of inner change, but will not solve personal problems.
The team will provide you with a safe, supportive and sacred space for authentic self-disclosure, but will not protect you.
The team will help you to discover your inner resources and healing skills, but will not heal you.
The team will accompany your individual growth cycle in a way that is self-empowering, but will not go through the process for you.
The team will teach a limited number of aquatic and coaching techniques, to the degree that it supports the process of self-empowerment, which will remain the dominant focus over the technical aspect.
The team will embody FLOW since that is the only way it can be transmitted. It is not a concept, nor a method. It is a way of being.
